BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY
In order to reserve a boat, the client must proceed with the payment of a 50% deposit of the full amount. This ensures the requested date and boat and allows us as a company to cover several expenses prior to the departure as are the crew and fuel. In order to proceed with departure, the client must proceed with the payment of the remaining balance of 50% with a minimum of 24 hours prior to the date.
Booking online on our site:
We use a third-party website to facilitate your online booking experience. This may incur additional fees (we charge a 7% processing fee for all online payments, and the online booking service fee may vary from 1% to 4% depending on your credit card company). You also have the option to do a direct deposit or pay cash with no additional fees. To reserve a vessel through the website, the client will make a payment of 50% of the total price. The outstanding balance must be paid through credit card payments, cash or bank deposit before departure.
Cancellation:
It is important that before you book a boat, you as a client take into consideration that as soon as you book with us we immediately begin to prepare your charter. Therefore, we incur several expenses, consequently we a have a charge policy on the deposit in case an unjustified cancellation from the customer occurs:
In case natural causes beyond our control (bad weather, etc.) are the cause of the postponement or cancellation of the Charter, we ensure a 100% return of the deposit (subject to the decision on cancellation ONLY from the captain of the boat). If the boat is delayed more than one (1) hour to reach the place of departure, the client is entitled to claim a refund for 100% of the deposit.
Rescheduling
To make a change in the scheduled charter date, notice must be made 1 (one) week in advance so that no charges apply to the modification. Every reservation has up to six (6) months from the payment date to make their private charter (subject to availability).
