Taboga Island Tour and surroundings

Taboga Island, also known as the Island of Flowers, is a small paradise in the Pacific Ocean just 10 nautical miles from Panama City (approximately 25 minutes depending on the vessel). Enjoy a private boat charter where you decide the departure time. The yacht departs from Flamenco Marina on the Amador Causeway. The tour can be half day (4 hours) or full day (8 hours).

Fishing at Taboga Island

If fishing is one of your desired activities, an early morning departure is recommended. Fishing around Panama Bay and Taboga is an excellent option for catching snapper, corvina, jack, and mahi-mahi.

Taboga Island and its surroundings are dotted with picturesque islets like Chamá, Taboguilla, and the Tarapa rock. Taboga and Taboguilla are classified as a Protected Wildlife Area of the Republic of Panama, harboring a rich diversity of flora and fauna you'll appreciate throughout the trip.

Stop over and explore the island

Around midday, we recommend anchoring off the beach in front of Taboga village, also known as 'the fishermen's village'. Here you'll find calm waters for swimming, restaurants with local Panamanian cuisine, and the opportunity to explore the picturesque village.
